Persuasion — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the Persuasion app ("we", "us", the "app") handles information. We designed Persuasion to collect as little data as possible. You do not need to create an account to play.

Information We Do Not Collect

Persuasion does not require a login for normal gameplay. Player names, game settings, and preferences are stored only on your device and are never transmitted to us.

Information Processed by Third Parties

• Purchases (Apple & RevenueCat): When you buy Full Access, the transaction is processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to verify your purchase and manage entitlements. RevenueCat may receive a device-generated identifier and purchase details. We do not receive your name, email, or payment card information.
• Word Catalog (Google Firebase): The app may download updated word categories from Google Firebase (Firestore). These are standard, read-only content requests. The app also works fully offline using a built-in word set.

Data We Store on Your Device

Game settings, selected categories, player names, and local statistics are saved in your device's local storage so your preferences persist between sessions. Deleting the app removes this data.

Children's Privacy

Persuasion does not knowingly collect personal information from children. No account or personal data is required to play.

Data Deletion

Because we do not store personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to delete. Removing the app deletes all locally stored data. For purchase records, contact Apple.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
